Winter Olympics Art Day 16
This is Bear Glacier which is located along side of highway 37A near Stewart, B.C. I made this image in the late summer of 1993 and on this particular day it felt like winter as the glacier created its own mini weather system as I was photographing the glacier early in the morning, it was beautiful as the ice chunks silently floated around the still waters while the sun illuminated the glacier. The image was made with my 4 x 5 view camera and a 120mm lens.
