Trees, East Sooke Park

I have always loved photographing trees. I think they hold so much character and seem to be reflections of our own soul with their often bent and twisted limbs reaching skyward. These trees were photographed this past March using my 4 x 5 view camera and a 120mm lens at East Sooke Regional Park on the Southern tip of Vancouver Island.

I like these trees...I think they'd be great to climb as there are so many branches. Not too sure that some of the thinner branches could take my current weight 'tho...mmmm! Lovely photo, gary! Canada is a wonderful country to explore, and you are showing this to us...thank you!
