I made this image of trees amongst tall grass in Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park a week or so ago. Five years ago this park was burned by a huge forest fire. Image made with a 4 x 5 view camera and 120 mm lens.

Nice photo, Gary. This one is definitely one of my favorites from you. The juxtaposition of the healthy looking tree against the burned trunks is wonderful.
Great sense of depth here with the grass as a uniting element. The details of the bark in the foreground complements very well the full shape of the trees. Fine.
