The Kettle Valley Railway

This is an image I made from about twenty years of the historic Kettle Valley Railway trestles many which were burned in the 2003 wildfire that also wiped out 239 homes in Kelowna. After 5 years of hard work, all of the burned trestles have been rebuilt in which an official opening ceremony was held today.

Good to hear that historic bridges are so valued as to be rebuilt. Will trains be travelling along this one, or is it only as a walking bridge now for the tourists/visitors?

Lolly,

This is a trail just for walkers and cyclists......no trains running on these tracks anymore :)
