Ode to Snow at Hidden Meadow

I'm not a poet with pen in hand, well maybe with a camera in hand. I love snow, not the dirty stuff that gets thrown up by the passing snow plows as they rumble along our highways and byways or the snow that gets shoveled and piled up at the end of our drive ways and walkways , no I love the snow that falls in a presitine wilderness setting, especially on a bright sunny day when the rays of the sun catch and illuminate the millions upon milions of what look like to me diamonds set against a dazzling blue sky. One of my favourite places to take my camera is Silver Star Provincial Park, located near Vernon, B.C. the area has cross country ski trails, snow shoe trails and further up the hill, down hill skiing, some of the best in the country.

The image posted was taken near Hidden Meadow on a snow trail at Silver Star with my Tachihara 4 x 5 view camera and a 120mm lens.
