Spring will be officially upon us soon, and soon the cold days of winter will be behind us. I find winter a time of great beauty no matter where I am. This is one of my archive images from December of 1993, frost covered logs at Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island.The image was made with my 8 x 10 view camera and a 300 mm lens, Recently I have scanned this image to make a 40 x 50 inch print ( using a Microtek M1 scanner ). Zooming in on the photo while in Photoshop on my computer brings up a incredible amount of detail.
