Best of Model Society

Model Society, the best figurative fine art in the world, is featuring a few of my fine art nude images in their first-ever hardcover book to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The 270-page book is said to be a timeless masterpiece and features 300 models and photographers from around the world. My work was chosen from over 1000 portfolio submissions. I have been photographing the fine art nude for 30 years. 

 

The book will be available through a Kickstarter campaign

Easy Beauty by Chloe Cooper Jones

Last week the book Easy Beauty by author, Chloe Cooper Jones arrived in my mailbox. The book features one of my photographs on the cover of the book. I made the photo at Bromley Rock Provincial Rock near Princeton, B.C. March 2010. Easy Beauty is a memoir that examines our concept of beauty, and how it extends to how we look at disabled bodies. Chloé Cooper Jones is a philosophy professor and freelance journalist who was a finalist for a 2020 Pulitzer Prize in Feature Writing. Her work has appeared in publications including GQ, The Verge, VICE, Bookforum, New York magazine, and The Believer, and has been selected for both The Best American Travel Writing and The Best American Sports Writing. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
