Love the frosty icicles on the branches. Nicely done.

I'm a bit surprised there was snow in early September, although I do recall a dusting of snow in St. Albert (near Edmonton) on a Labour Day weekend.

The frosty icicles are actually the needles of the Larch tree which had turned bright yellow in September, in black and white theneedles are rendered a whiter shade of gray. It was quite rainy and misty when I made this picture.
