Today's featured artist is Ken Ketchum of Saltspring Island, B.C, Canada.
Ken received a BFA from Cal State University at Northridge, California in 1972, and began integrating his painting skills with photography in 1994. He has traveled extensively in pursuit of his images including a 2000 mile road trip throughout Mexico, and journeys to The Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Thailand, Cambodia and Ireland. Drawn to the magnificent light and artist community, Ken moved to Salt Spring Island with his wife Randie in 2004.Ken has shown his work at galleries in San Francisco, Seattle, Victoria, and Salt Spring Island.

Acrylic on Canvas,"The Point" is on Prevost Island in the Southern Gulf Islands, BC Canada. This bit of land is actually called Selby Point.
