I sat on the rock pile at the end of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, on a fine day in September with the sun in my face and these beautiful clouds hovering above me and thought how lucky I am that I can photograph and live in such a beautiful place.

Interesting, Gary, but as the image was downloading and only showed the part to the tops of the mountains, I thought we were going to see something about ice; then the rest of the image came. I was disappointed...but not in the image! The clouds are so intense, and what is happening in the water reflections?
As I recall it was one of those days that the wind was blowing the clouds around quite a bit, thus creating a ripple effects on the water.
Another wonderful image, Gary. I'm quite envious of your locale, as it seems to be the exact opposite of where I live.
Beautiful image. I was there for my honeymoon 19 years ago. Must be wonderful to live nearby and be able to photograph it easily. We always said we would get back...but if it isn't one thing it's another...

Thanks very much for your comments !
If you divide the image into four quadrants, in the lower left quadrant I can see an eye. It looks like it could be the right eye of someone, dark bushy eyebrow and the eye underneath. Can you see it? And the water part, overall, looks as if it has been photographed through some blurred greenery of some kind that has added a vertical stripey effect across the bottom. That is what I was seeing! ;o}
Janina,
That is the wonderful thing about looking at a photograph, each viewer comes away with his or her own impression, you have seen things that others will never see !
