Rainy Day Photography

Here is another image of kelp washed up on the shore of Albert Head Lagoon on Vancouver Island that I made on a rainy day in 1990, I thought the rain gave the kelp a glazed look. Image was made with my 4 x 5 view camera and a 120mm lens.

Interestingly, even 'tho I like the previous Steel Like Kelp, for reasons already said by commenters, I prefer this one. It has depth to the colour of the monochromes, if you understand what I mean, as a result of the various textures of the kelp and sand/beach ground. The light bouncing back to us has added to the image by producing an abstract effect, to my eye anyway!
