I just returned from a two week trip to Vancouver island, one of the places I visited was Pacific Rim National Park Reserve on the West side of the Island, I had a wonderful time and some good weather, here is a image I made near South Beach, taken with my Nikon D90 and a 24mm lens.
In 2005, the Ucluelet First Nation raised their first totem pole in over 100 years, the beautifully carved pole was created by James 'Hudson' Cootes, the pole can be found along the trail to South Beach just a short distance away from the Wickaninnish Interpretive Centre in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada. The image was made with a Nikon D90 camera and a 50mm lens.
