I photographed these tangled branches of a Cedar tree as they dip into Cameron Lake which is at the edge of MacMillan Provincial Park on Vancouver Island this past October. The park includes Cathedral Grove which features an impressive stand of old growth Douglas fire trees some more than 800 years old, within walking distance of Highway 4. The picture was made with a Ebony 4 x 5 view camera and a 120mm lens.
